Bonjour! Please introduce yourself and tell us where abouts your from?
45rpm from the mighty WHAT crew. I live in Bristol
You have a very distinct style. How did you discover this style and what keeps those creative juices flowing?
I think I just found a group of idiots who all like the same goofy fun style, so instead of having to change and calm my style down, its been able to get weirder. Its like being a serial killer then meeting another serial killer, instead of going, wow im a bit wierd I should stop beheading people, your new mate would say, no keep doing it its fun, gets you out the house. So yeah I blame the other boys in the crew, as long as they get it im doing alright. If im sketching with Rich, there is no end to what we could be sketching, it could be a Turtle on a skateboard to a Ndubz tribute.
What are some of your favourite mediums to work with / why?
Spray paint and a massive wall, nothing beats that. the feeling of taking on a monster wall smashing it then stepping back and just walking away. Not being precious about it
What music do you listen to in the studio?
Black flag, lightning bolt, Gonga, thought forms, Beak… Basically the most un relaxing music there is. I like something that gives me a headache
What other things in life do you enjoy outside of work hours?
Putting a beer and a few tins of paint in my bag and riding all day to find somewere old and weird to paint. I also like Beekeeping.

Hackney Empire/Secousse main man AJ Holmes steps up to the decks with Congolese hype man / animator MC Kastro on the mic. The in touch space-out funk horn blowers and party animals United Vibrations come back to town to join the fun with their friends ZZE. Plus new rock from Bristol cats The Goan Dogs, and live trumpets mesh with deep-dug 12s and 7s c/o Bristol Reggae Society.
